Acceptable use policy
These rules help protect customers, private records and LeaseAlarm.

Use LeaseAlarm lawfully
Use LeaseAlarm only for lawful record keeping. Respect privacy, confidentiality, ownership and the rights of everyone named in a record.
Do not misuse access
Do not pretend to be someone else, share an account improperly, bypass permissions, enter another organisation, test security without written approval, copy the service at scale, overload it, add harmful software or interrupt another person’s use.
Do not add harmful or unauthorised material
Do not add material that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harmful, copied without permission or outside your authority. Do not add passwords, access keys, full card details or sensitive information that is not needed.
Do not use LeaseAlarm for high-risk work
Do not use LeaseAlarm as an emergency system, legal-notice service, safety-critical system, medical system, trust account, rent collector, financial-compliance system or automatic decision-maker about a person. Always use a person and a suitable independent process for high-risk work.
Email and invitations
Send invitations and reminders only to people you are allowed to contact. Do not use LeaseAlarm for spam, bulk marketing, harassment or misleading messages.
Trade and legal restrictions
Do not use LeaseAlarm if doing so would break export controls, trade sanctions or another law. We may limit access when reasonably required by law.
What we may do
We may block unsafe files, limit abusive traffic, investigate suspected misuse and restrict access when needed to protect people, information or the service. Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and allow a fair chance to respond.
Report a concern
Email leasealarm@gmail.com to report suspected misuse or unauthorised access. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes or private documents.
